Millbury has secured a $229,293 Community Compact Fiber Grant from the state to fund a municipal fiber network. A second kickoff event — a Murder Mystery — follows tomorrow, June 24. The program runs across all age groups: children ages 11 and under, teens, and adults are all invited to read, earn prizes, and attend special events, which require separate registration. The library will be closed Saturday, July 4, for Independence Day.
