Ashburnham Town Hall, Transfer Station Both Closing for July 4th Week

Ashburnham residents should note back-to-back municipal closures heading into the Independence Day holiday, with Town Hall shutting down Thursday, July 2, and the Transfer Station closed Saturday, July 4.

The town posted two holiday-schedule notices Wednesday. Town Hall will be closed Thursday, July 2 — the day before the long holiday weekend begins. The Transfer Station will follow with its own closure on Saturday, July 4, in observance of Independence Day.

Residents who need to drop off waste or recyclables should plan ahead: the Transfer Station's regular Saturday window will not be available that week. No makeup schedule was announced.
