Westminster Select Board Reorganizes, Approves LexiPoll Contracts and Pickleball Courts
ASHBURNHAM — May 11, 2026 — Westminster Select Board reorganizes and approves $140,837 warrant in routine Monday session. The board unanimously named Mike Cooley chair, Missy Banks vice chair, and Sam Albert clerk before moving through a full agenda that included authorization of two LexiPoll LLC policy-management contracts — one covering municipal administration from July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027, and one covering the Westminster Police Department through the same period. Community Services Director Audra Kirkland won board approval to stripe two pickleball courts on the existing town basketball court, with Parks and Recreation absorbing the cost of a still-pending quote from Davenport Paving. The board also endorsed amended Holmes Park Water District dissolution language, approved a Jaws movie night at Crocker Pond for June 6, and signed off on a Montachusett Regional Planning Commission road safety audit grant letter for South Main Street. Board members discussed formally submitting collective comments to the Zoning Board of Appeals as it conducts the Adams Street 40B hearings through October, and urged residents to attend the June 1 PFAS informational session at the Senior Center.
