Winchendon Partners With Discovery Maps to Create Town Visitor Guide
WINCHENDON — The town's Economic Development Task Force has announced a partnership with Discovery Maps to produce a professionally illustrated guide showcasing local attractions, businesses, services, and destinations — the most concrete economic-development news out of Town Hall so far this week.

The Economic Development Task Force revealed Monday afternoon that it has teamed with Discovery Maps, a company that specializes in illustrated community and visitor maps, to produce a new publication for Winchendon. The map is intended to highlight the breadth of what the town has to offer both residents and visitors. The full announcement is posted on the town's News Flash page. The town is also still seeking one volunteer to fill a seat on the Finance Committee and one to fill a seat on the Economic Development Task Force itself, according to separate News Flash postings.

Beals Memorial Library is set to launch its Summer Reading Club with a Kick Off Party on Thursday, June 18. The event is listed on the town calendar; check the library or town website for times and details.
The library is also hosting a Classic Movie Matinee screening of *3:10 to Yuma* on Wednesday, June 17 — a free midweek option for film fans of all ages.
